Since July, the Ministry of environmental protection has organized thousands of people to carry out special inspections on 1792 imported waste processing and Utilization Enterprises in 22 provinces.

According to the Ministry of environmental protection, as of July 22, 1556 enterprises had been inspected by various inspection groups, and 954 enterprises had been put on file for punishment, accounting for 61% of the total number of enterprises inspected.

This involves many enterprises in Ziya circular economy industrial zone.

According to the task arrangement of the Ministry of environmental protection, four special inspection teams carry out law enforcement inspection in the park at the same time. At present, the one month inspection work has entered the final stage. As of July 20, 26 enterprises had been investigated by his 26th group, and the 36 problems proposed to be put on file and punished have been transferred to Tianjin Jinghai District Environmental Protection Bureau. At present, the Bureau has completed 23 feedback problems, and the remaining 13 problems are also under filing.

Law enforcement personnel: some enterprises are suspected of setting up secret management

Tianjin Ziya circular economy industrial zone is located in the southwest of Jinghai District, Tianjin. The responsible persons of enterprises in the park are mainly local people in Jinghai district. Historically, it is an industrial cluster mainly engaged in dismantling and processing imported solid waste.

Earlier, there were many irregularities in the operation and processing of imported wastes in Jinghai district. Since then, the state has implemented "zone management" on imported wastes, and all enterprises have "entered the park". Ziya circular economy industrial zone has now become the largest circular economy park and "urban mine" in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei and even the northern region.

According to the information on the park's official website, "there are 160 enterprises in the park, with an annual throughput capacity of 1-1.5 million tons. We can provide 400000 tons of copper, 150000 tons of aluminum, 200000 tons of iron, 200000 tons of rubber and plastic materials and 150000 tons of other materials to the market every year. "

During the visit, it was learned that the enterprises in the park are mainly engaged in the operation and processing of waste hardware (including electrical appliances, cables, motors) and waste plastics, and the main importing countries are Japan, South Korea and the United States.
